Oud Maruki
Dense, dark chips with the resin still visible in the grain. The deepest smoke of the woods we keep.
The darkest wood in our branch. Hold a piece to the light and you can see the resin sitting in the grain, which is what you are paying for.
A little goes a long way. Two or three pieces on the coal will hold a majlis for an hour, and the smell stays in the cloth long after the coal has gone out.
This is the grade people buy for guests, for Eid, and for gifts that need to be remembered.
